Technology has become a mainstream component in our society. In many cases it is assumed that most individuals, no matter their age, have access to digital formats throughout their day. Immediate gratification and access are paramount with many organizations and businesses capitalizing on this. Healthcare organizations have also begun to follow suit. According to Kennedy & Yaldren (2017), digital literacy within health-care services offers “greater flexibility, accessibility, collaboration, innovation and effective communication and participation.” In what ways have you seen digital literacy being used within your own health-care systems?
