Each student is required to submit one research paper (in APA format, double-spaced with appropriate peer reviewed citations) which will involve some self-reflection but will mostly be focused on integrating concepts from the text, discussions, and supplemental materials. Page range is 8 to 10 pages (not counting title and reference pages) of text. Papers are due no later than Sunday, the final week of class. See Topic Choices below”
The goal of this research paper is for students to select a topic and to describe the impact of your topic on Domestic Security Management. In addition to your other research address the following and highlight these categories in yellowWhy is this topic important? What are you claiming? Can you back this up with facts and analysis? What can be done about this threat? Who is impacted? What resources are required? What are the second and third order effects of this disaster and the Emergency response? For a shot at max pointsLink the real world event, to at least three specific course resources (cite specific page numbers, charts, graphs etc in the course textbook, power points slide and or other course material).
